Caro Ramsay was born and educated in Glasgow. Now in her late thirties, she lives
in a village on the West Coast of Scotland with an odd selection of stray dogs including
Emily, the demented pit bull terrier. She is an osteopath, acupuncturist, erstwhile
marathon runner who devotes much of her time to the complimentary treatment of injured
wildlife at a local rescue centre. She can often be found ‘fox whispering’, treating badgers
with amnesia and arguing with mute swans.
She has been writing stories since she was five years old, developing a keen interest in crime
fiction when leaving university and her passion for the genre has stayed with her to this day.
